I found all of the answers again...
TLDR: Creativity is magic. Commit to your creativity and join this Winter’s Creative Incubator.
Sh*t always comes up when I try to pursue new creative projects. 😃
For me that refrain often sounds like a mix of: How am I going to sell my work that I want to make? Should I make this thing without any plan of where it will go in the world?
And (almost always) leads to: “Damn it’s been a while since I’ve sat down to make art”
Whether we’re trying to launch a new project or business, make adjustments to your routine, or otherwise progress through any moment of change – logistical concerns around what comes next can seem insurmountable.
AND I want let you know: Your SO FAIR AND SO IMPORTANT CONCERNS will get answered once you jump into your creative mind space.
Once I’m flowing with my paint, I always keep a notepad by my side, because as I enter flow state, insights literally just come to me.
I know I’m not the only one who’s had this experience.
So whatever your concern is, I’m here to tell you:
- It’s a valid concern
- It’s not important enough to keep you away from your art.
It’s okay to show up to your creative practice with baggage, you might walk away feeling lighter afterwards.
I’m running the first ever Creative Incubator this February-March.
Together we will work through my online course and you will learn tangible skills for how keep up with life and spend more time being creative.
With love,
Sharona
🔥 QUICK TIP: I’m a big fan of “side-notes” - I find it helpful to keep a pen handy to capture the insights that come through mid-process so that I don’t lose them. I often incorporate this style of intuitive writing into my visual artwork. It feels good to let the muse speak through my pen. ✍️
shoutout to Elizabeth Gilbert’s Big Magic - if you’re interested in learning more about how to harness the autonomous life force that is creativity, this is an encouraging audiobook listen.
